Giving is Receiving

I am still learning the power that these words hold, but I will tell you what I know. Most people like this word the other way around because they are not willing to give first but rather receive first. We, humans, are selfish and want everything. That is the problem you see. Let me show you why, with an example.

Let’s say that you are standing in front of a mirror (we’re representing the mirror as our world). Now, if you extend your hand to the mirror to give something, the mirror will do the same. So, you are giving something to the mirror and receiving it at the same time.

Let’s say that you just stand there waiting for the mirror to reach out first. That is a little ridiculous don’t you think? You are not going to receive anything from the mirror unless you extend your hand to give something.

Personally, I think that it’s a great thing to learn and anyone who does it has a superpower. These words bring our whole community together and we think on a wider scale rather than just me, I, or my.

I want you to remember that in order for us to receive something, we need to first give.
